Rachmat Gobel, a successful entrepreneur and politician from Gorontalo, has played a significant role in the progress of Gorontalo Province, particularly in this decade.
As the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, representing Gorontalo Province, he embodies the spirit of collaboration between the central and regional governments. He ensures the needs of Gorontalo’s people and developmental progress are prioritized in the national agenda he champions.

According to him, Gorontalo’s natural wealth is no less impressive than that of other provinces. Therefore, he is committed to introducing and promoting the natural wonders of Gorontalo Province.
In sports, Rachmat Gobel has shown his commitment to fostering development by sponsoring the Gorontalo Half Marathon.
Currently, Rachmat Gobel is actively advancing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He views this sector as the backbone of Gorontalo’s economy. By connecting local entrepreneurs with investment opportunities and national market networks, he aims to create a more inclusive and competitive business ecosystem.
